BEAST MODE is it all that its hyped up to be?
We are constantly told to increase the intensity, lift more, work harder and push farther but are we throwing our bodies into regression and sickness by not taking a day off or giving our bodies a chance to recover. When training the intensity of your program is so important to understand as we all know that exercise is a stress to the body so when we train we are increasing our cortisol levels. The problem if your levels are too high constantly we are not working our bodies efficiently which can lead to sickness, injury and fatigue during programs leading to unhealthy habits of using chemically enhanced stimulants, binge eating and poor sleep patterns.
However, on the flip side if all you are doing is optimising and if you are never increasing your intensity you are not going to grow or change. So its a fine balance between the two. Its about really tuning into your body to understand when it needs rest, choosing exercise programs that enhance your physical wellbeing and taking time out to rejuvenate.
As a student of AHFF we expose you to a range of different exercises and styles of training so you understand how they work as well as being able to give variations to your clients to avoid the above.
